Since the start of March 2022, we have been cooperating on evacuations of families with people with mental or physical disabilities from Ukraine. Our partners in the humanitarian activity are Fight For Right and The Partnership for Inclusive Disaster Strategies. We have published a call for volunteer drivers who would provide transport for families with people with mental or physical disabilities from Ukraine to Slovakia, Poland, and Germany on social media. After being transported to Slovakia and Poland, these people are adequately accommodated based on their physical or mental disabilities. During the past three weeks since the launch of this initiative, we have successfully evacuated several families thanks to our volunteer drivers. In cooperation with Kto pomôže Ukrajine?, we have delivered material help directly to the Ukrainian organisation Motohelp.
