INTERVENTION
We have been leading, managing and funding our long-term programme ‘Heart for Kenya’ and coordinating medical missions with hospitals since 2018. We had been supporting this activity since 2015.
In total over 100 children with inborn heart defects from poor economic backgrounds have undergone the life-saving treatment by our European teams and partners in Kenya.

We have been succesfully accomplishing collaborative volunteering and co-financing with SlovakAid since 2016.
In the summer of 2016, we provided means for medical internship.
Our medical missions used the following funding in our hearth for Kenya project: Grant for Mater Hospital in 2017, Medical mission in 2018, Grant for Mater Hospital in 2018, Medical mission in 2019, Grant for Mater Hospital in 2019, Project Veronica 2020 - 2022.
Our cardiology activities are part of the official humanitarian response of the Slovak Republic titled Sharing Slovak Expertise.
